The 3R machine operates intelligently with a fully automated process: from sucking old oil, pumping new oil to cashless payment. Users can easily change the oil themselves with just a few taps on the machine. The machine also remembers the maintenance history and optimizes the amount of oil for each type of vehicle, saving up to 30% of costs. Master Nguyen Bao Trung, CEO of AP Saigon Petro, said that the significant reduction of plastic bottles for oil packaging and the optimization of the process have helped reduce direct costs for customers, especially motorbike taxi and technology drivers.
Leaders of AP Saigon Petro answered questions about the 3R Automatic Oil Changer for motorcycles.
"Most of the current equipment only has the function of oil change, there is no solution to reduce, reuse, or recycle old oil. The 3R machine not only performs oil change but also applies 3R technology to optimize oil resources," Mr. Bao Trung added.
Moreover, the 3R machine contributes to reducing plastic bottles containing oil – a source of more than 12,000 tons of waste per year from the lubricant industry. AP Saigon Petro expects that when occupying 10-20% of the market, the machine will help reduce from 1,200-2,400 tons of plastic waste per year.
