SIGNS THAT YOUR CAR NEED SHOCK ABSORBER REPLACEMENT
When shock absorbers make noise, leak oil, or become stiff and lose elasticity, these are signs that the shock absorbers are failing and should be checked immediately.

Car shock absorbers are an important part of the suspension system, absorbing and reducing shock for a smooth ride. When shock absorbers are degraded and need to be replaced immediately, there are often the following signs.

    ROLE OF SHOCK ABSORBER

Shock absorbers also help keep tires stable on bumpy roads, making it easier for drivers to control the vehicle. Due to continuous operation, shock absorbers easily wear out and lose their effectiveness.

There are some warning signs of shock absorber problems that you need to pay attention to, as bumps are not only uncomfortable but can also be potentially dangerous.

    SIGNS TO CHANGE SHOCK ABSORBERS

    Shock absorbers squeak

Strange noises from the shock absorber are a sign of damage, possibly caused by deformed shock absorbers, rust rubbing against the sleeve, cylinder body, or worn front bearings, dry oil, or bent hydraulic cylinders.

    Shock absorber leaking oil

Normally, car shock absorbers have a thin layer of oil on the piston shaft to lubricate and help the shock absorber operate smoothly and stably. If you see that the shock absorber only has a thin layer of oil, it is a normal phenomenon.

However, if the shock absorber leaks a lot of oil, it is a sign of a problem. The cause may be an open seal, a bent hydraulic rod, a worn hub, or other problems that cause the shock absorber to leak oil.

    Shock absorbers are stiff

Stiff car shock absorbers are a sign of shock absorber failure, indicating that the suspension system needs to be restored or replaced. When the shock absorbers are no longer resilient, the vehicle will experience strong impacts when driving over speed bumps, potholes or bad roads.

The car bounces strongly when braking suddenly

When the car bounces strongly when braking suddenly, this shows that the shock absorbers are seriously damaged and have lost their elasticity. This serious error needs to be checked and fixed soon to avoid danger.

    Tire wear is uneven

Due to problems with the shock absorber, it will affect the tire's ability to grip the road. Therefore, tire wear often occurs unevenly.

Check immediately if the shock absorber has the above signs. And remember to periodically change the right quality oil for your car to keep the engine running smoothly and lastingly.
